The last time I thought about faxing was when I
was in junior high and my parents had a fax line for some rental properties
they owned and managed. The only reason I even thought about it then was
because it could have potentially interfered with my dial-up internet connection and instant
messenger conversations! That is, until I had to
start faxing reports in to the record label. Suddenly I had to figure out how
to find a quick and cost effective way to send faxes during busy tours.
Thankfully, I'd heard about online faxing services and came across hellofax! Side note:
anybody remember the printer paper that came in rolls with those perforated
edges? I feel old.

tech savvy: wunderlist
Wunderlist is my new favorite app. Being a little type-A, I organize all the apps on my iPhone into tidy folders, but Wunderlist is used so often that it has a special place on the home screen. As a byproduct of my type-A-ness (new word?) I am a total list lover. Full disclosure: I will sometimes add something I've already done to my list, just for the satisfaction of checking it off. I love to make lists on beautiful paper, but the reality is that on the road I usually lose track of that kind of thing.

tech savvy: google docs
I am not at all intuitive when it comes to technology. I am amazing at googling things and then following directions exactly as stated, especially when there are visual aids. So, basically, I can follow instructions. When I discover a new app, toy, etc...that's easy to use and makes my life easier, I get a little bit giddy. It's such a relief to find tools that take some of the stress or extra work out of everyday tasks. In the tech savvy series, I'll be featuring different aspects of technology that have been making me feel like the technology rock star that in all actuality, I am not. As you may have ascertained from the post title, today's feature is on google docs!
