Between her fantastic website, successful cookbooks, and Food Network series, The Pioneer Woman (aka Ree Drummond) has become pretty well-known. For those of you that still aren't on the PW train, I'd like to introduce you to one of my favorite websites: thepioneerwoman.com.
Ree is a city girl turned country gal by way of marrying a successful cattle rancher, and her site encompasses everything from her amazing recipes to her story of meeting, loving, and marrying "Marlboro Man" to homeschooling advice to everyday anecdotes! She is talented and beautiful, but she speaks with such sincerity and humility that you feel like you've known her for years. Her food is delicious, her stories are hilarious, her advice poignant, and her website is super helpful in many areas. The experience of visiting her site is much like that of calling a trusted friend or big sister when you need dinner ideas, movie recommendations, or maybe just a good laugh now and then.
If you haven't yet visited her site, be warned, you might want to browse when you've got some time on your hands, because I can guarantee you'll just want to keep on reading! Thanks to PW for creating your gorgeous and original content for all to enjoy (especially those recipes!).
Are you already a devoted fan of Ree's? Do you have any favorite PW recipes? I love the MM Sandwich and the sweet potato casserole... :)
